Sinful Sunday Week # 13 Results

Whew! Internet, finally! For those of you who don’t know, my husband and I moved to a new apartment this weekend, and he has maguyvered our internet to get me online. Thanks so much to judge Aleea for keeping the contest tweets going yesterday when I was unpacking!

And now for the results:

First, let me say how hard this decision was to make, since all the entries were so fantastic! Here goes…

Honorable Mention: Kdub.  This was so cute! It drew me in and made me smile. The voyeuse, creeping around outside, trying to catch sight of her unrequited crush only to be called on the phone and busted–but not before she gets an eyeful of him doing something sinfully sexy just for her. Great story-telling!

Runner up – les16. Her entry packed a real punch. The image of the voyeuse watching two male lovers, entranced by their attractiveness, passion, and obvious love for one another, made me melt at the sexiness. In addition, the reader gets a strong sense of the loneliness the woman is struggling with. She’ll watch as long as they’ll let her, and doesn’t that just give you a lump in your throat?

Winner: Elle T. Without a doubt this one stood out to me the most. It was wonderfully written and encompassed the use of the picture and word prompt beautifully. I could easily visualize the scenario. Shy, artistic girl and sexy guy who coaxes her out of her comfort zone, encouraging her to embrace her inner voyeuse. I could ‘feel’ the connection between them and loved the powerful phrasing of the last few lines. And that final line was so yummy and visual. “The click of the camera that makes art out of lust.” Damn.

Congratulations, and thanks to everyone for participating  The winners may grab their buttons, and received accolades far and wide! Have a great week! (Oh and also, if you are interested in a contest running next Sunday, i.e. Christmas Eve Eve, please tweet me and let me know!)
