Sinful Sunday Week # 39 Results

The results are in! Here’s what judge JamideniseO had to say!

I would just like to say how completely thrilled I was to see so many entries for this prompt. m/m is such a beautiful genre, one I enjoy reading very much. There is just nothing hotter than two hot men lusting for one another. I mean, men and women alike can see the appeal of that. I am so happy that you indulged with me! Every single one of you did a fantastic job, and I enjoyed reading all of them.
One of the things I love most about being a writer is the ability to mold and stretch words and ideas to make them fit. You all did a great job doing just that with this prompt. There are so many ways to interpret the word, and the picture, and I was lucky to read a fantastic variety here.

That being said, this was a close call all around. I’ve read them and read them and read them. You really gave me a run for my money. That’s some good writing!

Honorary Mention goes to Aleea. Oh man… I could feel the angst just creeping in and breaking my heart. The unreciprocated love here was just… unf. It punched me in the gut. Since I am a sucker for the hurt, it touched me. Again, I loved how you used the prompt and sculpted it into something unique.

K.A. Mitchell is my runner up. My first thought after reading this was, wow. That was a very interesting way to incorporate the word prompt. I loved it! Secondly, damn. Hello to surprise butt plugs. I mean, right? Hot. Very hot.

In the end, I chose my winner mostly due to the tenderness and desperation. I am such a sucker for the yearning in fiction. It’s where the heat is, and this brought it for me. The whole thing was like… in slow motion, as if I was watching from a window as these two came together. So, my winner is Les16.

Like I said, this was NOT an easy decision. I think I’m retiring from judging anything ever. I gave myself an ulcer trying to decide. It was just that close. Thank you all for giving me the opportunity! It was fun and I look forward to reading more from all of you.

Thank you, Rebecca, for putting together such a fun and exciting program for us writers.

Thank you for judging! K.A. Mitchell also gets a virgin award, as do newbies Nikka Micheals, J.R. Gray, Eileen Griffin and Karenec!

The winners may now grab their badges! Thanks to everyone who participated! See you all next week!
